Founder/Psychologist/Mom

I’m Ali Greco, PsyD, a clinical psychologist and user experience leader with a background in anxiety treatment, systems theory, and organizational psychology. I’ve worked in prisons, colleges, and community mental health settings. I spent much of my career in UX design and research in healthcare. And, I’m a mom of a son with autism.
I recently launched Parathera, a new emotional support service for people who need more than a friend—but less than therapy. My goal is to expand access to human connection during rough seasons: not everything is a diagnosis, and not every hard season needs to be pathologized.
Parathera was launched after the death of my father following a long illness and is certainly a response to my own existential work - how do I spend my limited time on things that really matter? I felt a similar urgency after my sister's death 11 years ago and have felt the keen loss of several friends in between - all of which have reinforced my desire to help as many humans as I can during our shared existence.
